  1. Equipment of modern nuclear medicine imaging and technologies. Principles.
  2. Basic sciences, radiopharmacy, hybrid imaging (SPECT/CT, PET/CT), theranostic approach.
  3. Principles of nuclear medicine work flow. Teamwork (radiologist, radiology technologist, nurse, radiopharmacist, medicine physicist). Teamwork in interdisciplinary environment.
  4. Principles of image acquisition and quality control measures. Patient safety measures during nuclear medicine procedures.
  5. Conventional nuclear medicine imaging in clinical practice.
  6. Hybrid nuclear medicine imaging in clinical practice.
  7. PET/CT imaging in clinical practice.
  8. Theranostic in nuclear medicine
  9. Nuclear medicine therapeutical procedures

Lecturers: with PhD degrees, most of them associate professors, professors, qualiffied according to the requirements of Lithuanian University of Health sciences, all with long experience of faculty activities.

Possible duration of internship - 4 – 8 w.

Dedicated to: radiologists/nuclear medicine physicians, radiology technologists, nurses, radiopharmacist, medicine physiocist involved in nuclear medicine practice.
