with PhD degrees, most of them associate professors, professors, qualiffied according to the requirements of Lithuanian University of Health sciences, all with long experience of faculty activities.

radiologists, radiology technologists, nurses involved in radiology practice.

Topics
  1. Equipment of modern radiology and technologies. Principles.
  2. Basic sciences, contrast media, teleradiology.
  3. Principles of work organization in different radiological procedures. Teamwork (radiologist, radiology technologist, nurse). Teamwork in interdisciplinary environment.
  4. Principles of image acquisition and quality control measures. Patient safety measures during radiology procedures.
  5. General radiographic investigations and clinical practice.
  6. Fluoroscopic (roentgenoscopic) investigations, and their needs.
  7. Specific radiographic investigations – mamography, tomosynchesis, bone absorbciometry, ERCP, etc.
  8. Pediatric radiological investigations
  9. Modern computer tomography, computer tomography angiography studies in clinical practice.
  10. Interventional radiological diagnostic and treatment procedures, under US, CT and X-ray control (equipment, patient prepration, indications).
  11. Interventional angiographic diagnostic and treatment procedures (equipment, patient prepration, indications).
  12. Modern magnetic resonance tomography, magnetic resonance angiography studies in clinical practice.
  13. Functional and special MR imaging.
  14. Neck, abdominal and pelvic, vascular general and contrast enhanced US diagnostics, transcranial doplerography, US investigations of newborns.
